Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation
The foundation was established by Dilip Shanghvi, founder of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, and named for his father. Its institutions — a cancer centre and an eye institute in Mumbai, were built on a settled conviction — that care of a global standard should not be rationed by the ability to pay.
