We both trained in medicine. One of us stayed in clinical practice; the other spent a career financing the institutions that deliver it. Both paths taught the same lesson — that good intentions are abundant in this sector and good outcomes are not, and that the distance between them is almost always a matter of rigour.
So, we set up Vimaakr on what we call Rational Benevolence. Compassion decides what we care about; evidence decides what we fund. That means depth before breadth: a few commitments we can measure rather than many we cannot, and failures reported plainly rather than left to repeat quietly.
We hold this wealth as a trust rather than a possession: that duty is also a debt to the teachers who gave us knowledge, and to the family and country that made the work possible at all.

Dr. Amit Varma
Dr. Amit Varma is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Quadria Capital, Asia’s pre-eminent healthcare private equity firm, and Co-founder of HealthQuad, India’s largest healthtech venture firm. With over three decades of experience spanning US and Asia, he has operated at the intersection of capital, strategy, and healthcare delivery.
A critical care physician by training, Amit brings a rare synthesis of clinical insight and investment acumen to his work. His enduring commitment to advancing healthcare extends beyond investing into academia, research, and non-profit initiatives, where he serves in a range of advisory and board roles.
Dr. Neeti Chandra
Dr. Neeti Chandra is an accomplished Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist with extensive clinical and academic experience spanning India and the United States. Most recently, she served as Associate Director of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at Fortis Healthcare Limited and Escorts Heart Institute, bringing expertise shaped by her board certification in Anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesia.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Chandra has been affiliated with top healthcare organizations, including Manipal Heart Foundation and Narayana Hrudayalaya, distinguishing herself through her dedication to pediatric cardiac care, clinical excellence, and commitment to medical education.
Devendra Sharma
Devendra has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, tax, and fund raising across private equity, venture capital, and management consulting industries across Singapore and India. He joined Quadria Capital as its Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Previously, he worked at India Build Out Fund, Religare Asset Management, EY, and Deloitte. Devendra is a rank-holder Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Rajasthan University.
Vikrant Parashar
Vikrant is Chief of Staff to the Managing Partners at Quadria Capital. He works on strategy and investments. He is also ADC to the Chairmen of The Investment Committee (IC), the Remuneration Committee (RC), and the Value Optimisation Board (VOB). Previously, he was Principal EA (Strategy) to the MD at Encube Ethicals, following early-career tenures at Hindalco, Reliance Industries, and EY. Vikrant is an alumnus of FLAME University, a philanthropic venture of ENAM Holdings.
Anirudh Arun
Anirudh works as an Associate, Philanthropy Strategy and Impact at Quadria Capital. Previously, he worked for two years at United Airlines, supporting portfolios across strategy, operational finance, and tech analytics in the Financial Planning & Analysis division. He is a BA Economics (Honours) graduate and merit scholarship holder from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Shivam Gupta
Shivam Gupta is an MBA in Finance and a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in Finance and Taxation. He has extensive knowledge and practical experience in GST and Income Tax, with a strong understanding of financial compliance and reporting. Shivam has worked across various aspects of finance, taxation, and regulatory matters, developing a practical and solution-oriented approach. He joined Quadria Capital in May 2026 as a Finance Manager.
